1. Letter (M) Rc.No.2448/2021C2, Dated: 12.11.2021 along with enclosures received from the Collector and District Magistrate, Visakhapatnam.

ORDER :

In the letter 1st read above, the Collector & District Magistrate, Visakhapatnam has submitted proposal for sanction of Cash Award of Rs.6,00,000/- to IC-63616H Lt. Col D. Vinay Reddy, SC for the Award of Shaurya Chakra (Gallantry) during the republic day 2017 for his distinguished service.

2. Government after careful examination hereby accord sanction for Cash awardof Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) to IC-63616H Lt. Col D. Vinay Reddy, SC for the Award of Shaurya Chakra (Gallantry) on the occasion of republic day 2017 for his distinguished service who hails from Purushothapuram, Visakhapatnam from the available funds during the current financial year i.e., 2021-22. [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I 3. The expenditure shall be debited to the following Head of Account:

"2070-Other Administrative Services M.H.800 - Other Expenditure S.H. (16) - Monetary Assistance to the recipients of Gallantry Awards 050 - Rewards - 052- Awards".

4. The DDO, General Administration Department is requested to make necessary arrangements to reallocate the funds from the Head of Account 2070- 800- S.H(16) - 050-052 operated by the DDO Code No.2700-1701-025 to DDO (Administrative Officer), Office of the Collector, Visakhapatnam, DDO Code-0201-2302-015 from the available funds during the current financial year i.e., 2021-22.

5. The Collector &. District Magistrate, Visakhapatnam shall draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 2 above to IC-63616H Lt. Col D. Vinay Reddy, SC, under intimation to Government.
