COURTS - CRIMINAL - SPECIAL JUDICIAL MAGISTRATES OF SECOND CLASS - CONFERMENT OF POW ERS ON I.A.S. PROBATIONER OF 2020 BATCH UNDER SUB-SECTION (1) OF SECTION 13 OF THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1973 (CENTRAL ACT 2 OF 1974) - NOTIFIED.
NOTIFICATION No.43/SO/2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Andhra Pradesh hereby confers all the powers of the Special Judicial Magistrate of II Class on Sri Sedhu Madhavan. S., IAS, IAS Probationer 2020 batch, transferred from Bihar Cadre to Andhra Pradesh Cadre, in respect of particular cases or particular classes of cases as may be specified by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Prakasam District, to enable him to function as Special Judicial Magistrate of II Class in the Prakasam District during the period of his training from the date of his joining.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Prakasam District, is requested to issue special orders under Section 14 (1) and 15 (2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, as to the distribution of business to the said IAS Probationer in Prakasam District defining the local limits of the areas within which the IAS Probationer may exercise the powers.
