ORDERS :

Whereas in the reference 1st read above the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Ongole ordered for wound-up the affairs of The Guntur District Tobacco Growers & Curers Co­operative Marketing society ECCS Ltd., J.No.783 Ongole(V) of Prakasam District Under Section 64(1) of the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative SocietiesAct 1964 and appointed Smt. J.Sridevi, Senior Inspector O/o the Sub-Divisional Cooperative Officer, Ongole as liquidator. The liquidator reported that she initiated the action to secure the records of the society and to ascertain the whereabouts of the office bearers as well as members of the society and her efforts are proved in vain. [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE, December 29, 2021 whereas the liquidator has reported that General Body Meeting was convened on 20.03.2021 at 11.00 A.M in the O/o the Sub-Divisional Co-operative officer Ongole, Prakasam District, and the members of the society were not present .The liquidator has reported that no members is interested to run the society. Hence, it was decided to cancel the Registration of the society and recommended for finial closure of the society.

And, whereas it is mentioned by the liquidator that an amount of principle Rs.42,546/- (interest) Rs.2278189.674/- is pending against the society to Prakasam District Co­operative Central Bank and Rs.18100/­ as S.C for more than 26 years for which no details are available and as such dropped the liability.

Whereas the liquidator of The Guntur District Tobacco Growers & Curers Co­operative Marketing Society ECCS Ltd., J.No.783 Ongole(V), Prakasam District has submitted proposals in the reference 2nd cited for finial closure of the society and duly considering the report of the liquidator of the said society and in exercise of the powers delegated to the under signed under Sec.68 of Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act 1964,it is here by ordered for finial Closure of the affairs and cancellation of The Guntur District Tobacco Growers & Curers Co-operative Marketing Society ECCS Ltd., J.No.783 Ongole (V), Prakasam District and the said the society shall cease to exist as corporate body from the date of order.
