PROSECUTIONS DEPARTMENT - SPECIAL COURT FOR TRIAL OF OFFENCES UNDER SUB-SECTION (8) OF SECTION 24 OF THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1973 (CENTRAL ACT 2 OF 1974) TO CONDUCT PROSECUTION OF ANTI CORRUPTION BUREAU CASES AND ALSO CASES IN W HICH CHARGE SHEETS FILED BY CRIME INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT - PROSECUTING OFFICERS WORKING IN ANTI CORRUPTION BUREAU COURTS DESIGNATED AS SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTORS TO THE SPECIAL COURTS.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (8) of Section 24 of the
code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) to conduct prosecutions
of Anti-Corruption Bureau cases and cases in which Charge Sheets filed by Crime
Investigation Department in the Courts of Special Judges for Anti-Corruption Bureau in the State, Government, hereby designate the Prosecuting Officers appointed in the Anti-Corruption Bureau Courts for conducting trial of offences under the said Act, 1974 as Special Public Prosecutors to conduct prosecutions in the Special Courts.
