ORDER:-
As per Rule 3 of the Companies (Appointment & Qualifications of Directors) Rules, 2014, the following class of companies are required to appoint at least one woman director:
1. Every listed company;
2. Every other public company having -
a) Paid - up share capital of one hundred crore rupees or more; or
b) Turnover of three hundred crore rupees or more;
2. In pursuance of the above and for better corporate Governance, Government after careful examination, hereby nominate and appoint Smt Radhika Anusuri, East Godavari district as Independent Non-Whole time/Woman Director on the Board of Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL), Visakhapatnam for a period of two (2) years from the date of assumption of charge, subject to satisfaction of performance.
3. The service conditions of the above Director will be governed as per the existingFile No.ENE01-APEP0SERM(MISC)/4/2021-OP 9 GO RT/12/2022/ENE01-Energy regulations of the APEPDCL.
4. The Chairman and Managing Director, APEPDCL, Visakhapatnam shall take further necessary action in the matter.
