1. The National Food Security Act , 2013 ( Central Act 20 of 2013 ) .
2. G.O.MS.No.6 , CA , F & CS ( CS.I-) Department ,Dt . 12.04.2017 .
3.G.O.MS.No.8 , CA, F & CS ( CS.I- ) Department ,Dt . 18.04.2017 .
4.G.O.MS.No. 11 , CA , F & CS (CS.I- ) Department , Dt . 19-7-2017.

ORDER:
In the G.O 2nd read above , the Andhra Pradesh State Food Commission was constitutedfor implementation of the National Food Security Act, 2013 consisting of a Chairperson , 5 members and a Member Secretary.
2. In the GO 3rd read above , Government notified the "Andhra Pradesh Food Security Rules 2017" .
3. In the GO 4th read above, after considering the recommendations of the Selection Committee , Government appointed Chairperson and Members to the Andhra Pradesh State Food Commission .
4. The term of Chairperson was expiredby 31.5.2021 and term of Members will expires by 7-8-2022.
5. The Chairperson and Members other than the Member Secretary shall be appointed through a Selection Committee from amongst persons: -
a) who are or have been member of the All India Services or any other civil services of the Union or State are holding a civil post under the union or State having knowledge and experience in matter relating to Food Security, policy making and administration in the field of agriculture , civil supplies , nutrition , health or any allied field ; or
b) of eminence in public life with wide knowledge and experience in agriculture , law, human rights , social service , management , nutrition , health, food policy orpublic administration ; or
c) who have a proven record of work relating to the improvement of the food and nutrition rights of the poor.
6. Accordingly, the Government hereby constitutes the Selection Committee for selection of the Chairperson and other Members in the State Food Commission with the following members to prepare the list of probable members and submit to the Government for consideration and appointment .
1. Principal Secretary , Women and Child Welfare Department .
2. Principal Secretary , Social Welfare Department.
3. Principal Secretary , Tribal Welfare Department .
4. E.O Secretary , Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies Department - Convenor .
