ORDER :
The learned Advocate General for the State of Andhra Pradesh in the reference 3rd read above has requested to enhance minimum monthly honorarium to Standing Counsels in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to Rs.50,000 / - p.m. from 15,000 / - p.m.

3. Accordingly , the following amendment is made to the orders issued in the G.O.1st read above . The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come in to force with immediate effect .
AMENDMENTS
In Instruction 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Law Officers ( Appointment and Conditions of Service ) instructions , 2000 issued in G.O.Ms. No. 187 , Law , dated : 06.12.2000 , in sub- instruction ( 2 ) , -
( i ) clause ( g) shall be renumbered as clause ( g) ( i) .
( ii) after amended clause ( g ) as so renumbered the following shall be added , namely: -
" ( ii ) However , the Standing Counsels who are appointed in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh shall be paid a minimum monthly honorarium of Rs.50,000 /- ( Rupees fifty thousand only) per month and also more , if the retainer fee and case wise fee exceeds Rs.50,000 / -( Rupees fifty thousand only ) per month on average as per the willingness of the Standing Counsels obtained at the time of taking charge " .
4. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance department vide their U.O.No.FMUOPC / 10 / 2021. , computer No. - 1513223 , dated : 20.10.2021 .
