ORDER:
TheIndustries & Commerce Department has informed that World Expo 2020 is the First Expo scheduled to be held in MEASA ( Middle East , Africa and South Asia ) Region on the theme of Connecting minds , Creating Future .
2 . TheIndustries & Commerce Department has further informed that Department ofCommerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry , Government of India is the nodal department for organizing India's participation in the event . The purpose of the delegation is to attract investments in focus sectors like Energy, Tourism , IT, Infrastructure , Automobiles , Petrochemicals etc. , through B2B meetings , Networking Sessions , Round Tables with CEOs of companies with global presence .
3. TheIndustries & Commerce Department has further informed that Government of Andhra Pradesh has selected the dates between the February 11th 2022 to February , 17th 2022 to participate at the Expo . The Department of Industries & Commerce , GoAP is coordinating the State's participation in the event . The main theme proposed for the State at the EXPO is " Andhra Pradesh - Where Abundance meets Prosperity " .
4. TheIndustries & Commerce Department has further informed that expenditure towards delegation may be met from APIIC, subject to reimbursement from the IP Funds of Directorate of Industries , which is meant for Investment Promotion .
5. Keeping the core theme in mind , business events , the Industries & Commerce have requested to accord permission to the following official delegation for participating in the World Expo 2020 Dubai ,

6. Keeping in view the circumstances explained by the Industries & Commerce Department and after careful consideration of the issue hereby accord permission to the above dignitaries of the delegation to visit in the World Expo , Dubai from Feb 11th 2022 to Feb 17th 2022 , subject to obtaining political clearance by the participating delegates from the official web- site of Ministry of External Affairs , New Delhi as well as other clearances . On return the delegation would give a visit report and regularly follow up to ensure that investments actually happen in Andhra Pradesh .
7. Thisorder issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their UO No. FIN01- FMUOMISC / 49 / 2022 - FMU- GAD dated 03.02.2022 . ( Computer No. 1629907 ) , subject to optimising the expenditure to Rs . 1.50 crores ( Rupees one crore and fifty lakhs only) .
