ABSTRACT
VCICDP Revised Administrative Sanction for the sub project " non - motorized traffic zones and introduction of e - Vehicles ( UCCRTF / 06 ) " , from INR 9.00 Crs . to INR 26075 Crs . to be taken up under Tranche - I of VCICDP from Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund ( UCCRTF ) Grant in GVMC Accorded - Orders Issued .

ORDER :
In the reference 1st read above , Government have accorded Administrative Sanction to the " Visakhapatnam Chennai Industrial Corridor Development Program ( VCICDP) " for an amount of Rs.3187.80 Crs . (Rupees Three Thousand One Hundred and Eighty Seven Crores and Eighty Lakhs only ) , out of which the loan from the Asian Development Bank is Rs.2,442.00 Crs (Rupees Two Thousand Four Hundred and Forty Two Crores only) and Grant from Asian Development Bank is Rs.33.00 Crs ( Rupees Thirty three Crores only ) and the share of the Government of Andhra Pradesh is Rs.712.80 Crs ( Rupees Seven Hundred and Twelve Crores and Eighty Lakhs only .
2 . In the reference 2nd read above , Government have accorded Administrative Sanction for the following three (3 ) sub - projects being taken up under Tranche - I of VCICDP from Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund ( UCCRTF ) , Grant in GVMC with an Estimated Value of Rs.33.00 Crs . , (USD 5.00 Mns ) .

The PIU ( GVMC ) through the Project Director - VCICDP - PMU , has requested the Government to accord revised Administrative Sanction to sub - project, " Procurement of three wheeler e - Vehicles ( L5 ) along with supporting swapping station infrastructure including O &M for a period of 5 years under non - motorized traffic zones and introduction of e - Vehicles ( UCCRTF/ 06 ) , from INR 9.00 Crs . , to INR 26.75 Crs . , ( CAPEX : INR 13.78 Crs & OPEX : INR 12.97Crs . ) with a condition that the O &M Costs shall be borne by the GVMC from its own funds .
Ρ.Τ.Ο 4. The Project Director , VCICDP . , vide reference 4th read above , has stated that, the total of the ADB's Share of the contract values of the two sub - projects ( UCCRTF / 4 & UCCRTF / 05 ) and the ADB's Share of the contract value of the third sub - project (UCCRTF / 06 ) is coming to be at INR 33.13 Crs. , which is within the sanctioned Grant Amount of INR 37.91 Crs . There is a balance of INR 4.78 Crs which may take care of the changes in exchange rate , price escalations / adjustments if any. The O & M costs of the UCCRTF / 06 shall be borne by the GVMC from its own funds .
5. Government after careful consideration , hereby accord Revised Administrative Sanction to Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund ( UCCRTF ) / 06 , from INR 9.00 Crs . , to INR 26.75 Crs . , with a condition that the CAPEX of the sub - project ( INR 13.78 Crs . , will be funded under UCCRTF Grant from ADB and the OPEX of the sub - project ( INR 12.97Crs . , shall be borne by the GVMC from its own funds subject to limiting the overall cost to the actual availability of grant i.e. US $ 5 Million only " .
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (PMU - EAP ) Department , Vide their Endt.No.FIN01 - PMUOEAP ( APP ) / 10 / 2021 - EAP ( Computer No.1396356 ) , Dated : 13.07.2022 .
7. The Director of Industries / Project Director , VCICDP PMU shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
