O R D E R:
In the reference 1st read above, the Director General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has submitted proposal for convening Departmental Promotion Committee for inclusion of the names of the officer in the panel of Additional Director of Fire Services fit for promotion to the post of Director of Fire Services for the panel year 2022-23 and the same was examined and placed before the Departmental Promotion Committee.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Departmental Promotion Committee which met on 17.11.2022, after going through ACRS, relevant records and other material papers of the Additional Director of Fire Services in the seniority list and after making an overall assessment of the service record and work done, has recommended that the name of Sri D. Murali Mohan (SC), Additional Director of Fire Services, be included in the panel of Additional Director of Fire Services fit for promotion to the category of Director of Fire Services, in the panel year 2022-23.
3. Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby accept the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee and accordingly include the name of Sri D. Murali Mohan, Additional Director of Fire Services in the panel of Additional Director of Fire Services, fit for promotion to the category of Director of Fire Services for the panel year 2022-23.
4. The inclusion of the above name in the panel year 2022-23 is subject to directions/outcome of OAs/WPs/WAs/RPs/CAs/SLPs etc., if any, pending before Tribunal/Courts etc.
5. Accordingly, in terms of Rule-10(a) of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, Government hereby promote Sri D. Murali Mohan, Additional Director of Fire Services as Director of Fire Services with immediate effect.
6. The Promotion ordered in para-5 above, is purely temporary and is liable to be reverted to the lower post at any time without assigning any reason therefor and is subject to review of previous panels with regard to adequacy for SC/ST community and outcome of O.As/W.Ps/W.As/R.Ps/C.As/SLPs., pending, if any, before Tribunal/Courts etc.
7. On promotion, Sri D. Murali Mohan, is posted as Director of Fire Services (Admin) at O/o the Director General of State Disaster Response & Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada.
8. The Officer promoted in para-5 shall join in the promotion post within a period of (15) days from the date of receipt of the orders of promotion. If, he fails to join the new post within the stipulated period or evades to join the post by proceeding on leave, he shall forfeit his right of appointment both for the present and in future for his promotion post.
9. The Director General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada, is requested to take further necessary follow up action accordingly in the matter. The ACR of the above officer received in the letter 1st read above, are returned herewith.
