In the reference 1st read above , orders were issued appointing Dr.Premchand , IAS ( Retired ) , Commissioner of Inquiries , as Inquiry Authority , to inquire into the charges framed against the following charged officers i.e Sri K.Prakasa Rao , P &E Inspector ( Retd ) and 8 others for their involvement in Liquor syndicate case in Krishna District and submit the enquiry report within a period of No.28tree months : - AMARAVATI , WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30 , 2022 G.2779 akasa 1.Sri Koken Aphivionsang FxGOVERNMENT 2.Sri 6.1.Venkateswara Rao, Prohibition and ExciseInspector(Retd) . ) .

2. In the reference 2nd read above , the General Administration ( COIR) Department , among the others , the present case previously dealt by Dr. Premchand , IAS ( Retired ) , is reassignedto Sri R.P. Thakur , IPS ( Retd ) , member , Commissioner of Inquiries , with immediate effect for further processing . Therefore , requested to issue necessary orders reassigning the above case from Dr. Premchand , IAS (Retired ) to Sri R.P. Thakur , IPS ( Retd ) , for further processing of the case .
3. Now , therefore , the disciplinary authority in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 2 ) of Rule 20 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services ( Classification , Control & Appeal ) Rules , 1991 read with rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules , 1980 hereby modify the orders issued in the G.O.1st read above , and reassign the case to Sri R.P. Thakur , IPS ( Retd ) , member , Commissioner of Inquiries as the Inquiring Authority to inquire into the charges framed against the said Cos mentioned at para 1 above and he is directed to complete the enquiry within the stipulated period and furnish the Inquiry Report to the Government for taking further action in the matter .
