ORDER: -
India has assumed the G20 Presidency from the 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2023 , culminating with the G20 Summit in India in 2023. The 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit will take place on September 9-10 , 2023 in New Delhi and the Ministry of External Affairs , Government of India will be organizing G 20 Summit . Around 190 delegations meeting in various cities , since India got the chairmanship for the year 2023. Among other cities , Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh has also been included in the tentative schedule of events . The tentative schedule for Visakhapatnam is between 28th and 29th March , 2023 .
2. In the Memo . 1st read above , Sri Ajay Jain , I.A.S. , Special Chief Secretary to Government , Housing Department has been appointed as Nodal Officer for overall co - ordination of G-20 meetings at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh .
3. In the letter 2nd read above, Dr.A.Ravi Shankar , IPS , Additional Director General of Police (L& O ) , A.P. , Vijayawada has been appointed as Nodal Officer for Security Co - ordination for G - 20 meetings scheduled to be held in Andhra Pradesh .
4. In the Circular Memo . 3rd read above , instructions have been issued to all State Government Departments / Organizations etc. with a request to take necessary action for familiarize audiences about the relevance of the G20 Logo and the theme in the manner specified.
5. Keeping in view the above , Government hereby constitute the following Committee to make the event successful .

6 The above Committee shall co - ordinate the arrangements with regard to ensuing G - 20 Working Group in the last week of March , 2023 in Visakhapatnam . The Committee shall also co - opt other officers related to G - 20 event . The Committee shall also visit other cities where G-20 programmes are being organized and get acquainted with the arrangements to be made .
7 The Collector & District Magistrate , Visakhapatnam shall monitor and assist the Committee for successful and smooth conduct of G - 20 Meeting at Visakhapatnam .
