Whereas, in the Government orders 1st read above , certain charge was framAMARAVASTI , WEDNESDAYSUANUARY 25,12023 formerly Spec2550 Commissioner , O / o Chief Commissioner Land Administration , Telangana , PART I NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS Pradesh and he was NDOTHER OFFICERSritten statement of defence thereon .
2. NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENTvardhan , IAS ( AP : 2005 SCS ) , while denying the charge framed against him , has requested to drop the charge .
3. Government after careful examination of the matter , have decided to entrust the case to Commissioner of Inquiries by appointing an Inquiry Authority for conducting detailed inquiry under Rule 8( 2) of All India Services (Discipline and Appeal ) Rules , 1969 and to appoint Sri R.P. Thakur , IPS ( Retd. ) , Commissioner of Inquiries , as the Inquiring Authority to inquire into the charge framed against Sri K. Harshavardhan , IAS ( AP : 2005 SCS ) , formerly Special Commissioner , O / o CCLA , Telangana , Hyderabad .
4. Accordingly , in terms of sub- rule ( 2) of rule 8 of All India Services ( Discipline & Appeal ) Rules , 1969 read with clause ( a ) of sub - rule ( 6 ) of the said rule 8 , Government hereby appoint Sri R.P. Thakur , IPS ( Retd . ) , Commissioner of Inquiries , General Administration ( C.O.I ) Department as the Inquiring Authority to inquire into the charge framed against Sri K. Harshavardhan , IAS ( AP : 2005 SCS ) , in the G.O 1st read above , in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said rules .
5. Under clause ( c) of sub - rule ( 6 ) of rule 8 of All India Services ( Discipline & Appeal ) Rules , 1969 , Sri Sarva Srinivasa Rao , Advocate , is hereby appointed as " Presenting Officer" to present the case on behalf of Government before the Inquiry Authority in respect of charge framed against Sri K. Harshavardhan , IAS ( AP : 2005 SCS ) .
(PTO) against Sri K. Harshavardhan , IAS and shall furnish his report to the Government within the time limit prescribed in this regard .
