ORDER:
In the letter read above, the Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, has stated that as per section 6 of Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 r/w. Rule 3 of A.P.State Legal Services Authority Rules, 1995, the State Government Nominated 2 Chairmen of District Legal Services Authorities viz., Krishna and Ananthapuram Districts as Ex-officio members and also nominated other members to Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority. The term of Other Members is 2 (two) years from the date of Notification and thus the term is expired by 03.04.2020.
2) He further stated that, Hon'ble the Chief Justice, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, with a view to give opportunity to the Chairmen of other DLSAs, is pleased to recommend names of (2) Two Chairmen of DLSAs as Ex-Officio Members in the place of Chairmen of DLSAs, Krishna and Ananthapuram and His Lordship is also pleased to recommend (4) Four names as Other Members to Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority for a period of two years and requested for issue of necessary orders and notification in the matter.

3) Government, after careful examination of the proposal, have decided to accept the proposal and nominate the said Members to the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority.
4) Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in the Extra- Ordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated:07.03.2023.
NOTIFICATION-I
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub section (2) of Section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act No.39 of 1987) read with sub clause (f) of clause (ii) of rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority Rules, 1995, the Government of Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court hereby nominate the following Chairmen of the District Legal Services Authorities as Ex-Officio Members to the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority:

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub section (2) of Section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, (Central Act No.39 of 1987) read with clause (ii) of rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority Rules, 1995, the Government of Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court hereby nominate the following Members to the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority for a period of two years from the date of publication of this notification:
