O R D E R:
In the circumstances reported by the Director General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada vide reference 4th read above, after careful examination, Government hereby decided to issue the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Fire Subordinate Service Rules, 1992 issued in G.O.Ms.No.568, Home (Prisons.A) Department, Dated 24.11.1992 and as amended from time to time.
2. The following notification will be published in the Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated 19.01.2023.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Fire Subordinate Service Rules 1992 issued in G.O.Ms.No.568, Home (Prisons.A) Department, Dated 24.11.1992 and as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENTS
(i) In the said rules, in the Annexure-I to Rule 5 of the said rules, for the existing entries in column (3) (Qualifications) against Column (2) (Method of Appointment)" By Promotion" the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

Assistant Divisional Fire Officer" S tation Fire Officer (Leading Fireman and Driver Operator who completed 24 years of service) | "By Promotion" | Must have undergone and passed refresher course of Station Fire Officer (Leading Fireman and Driver Operator who completed 24 years of service) for promotion to ADFO. Pre-promotional Training for a period of eight (8) weeks and Post-promotional Orientation course for a period of two (2) weeks. |

Station Fire Officer " ( Leading Fireman, Driver Operator & Fireman (Who completed 24 years of service) | "By Promotion" | Must have undergone and passed the Pre-promotional Training for Leading Fireman, Driver Operator & Fireman (Who completed 24 years of service) for a period of eight (8) weeks and Post Promotional Orientation Course for a period of two (2) weeks. |
| 3 "3. Leading Fireman" | "By promotion" Must have undergone and passed | the Pre-promotional Training for Leading Fireman for a period of seven (7) weeks and Post- promotional Orientation Course for a period of one (1) week. |
| 4 "4. Driver Operator" | "By promotion" Must have undergone and passed | the Pre-promotional Training for Driver Operator for a period of ten (10) weeks and Post- promotional Orientation Course for a period of 2 weeks. |
