ORDER:
After careful examination of the matter , Government hereby nominate Dr.B.Sireesha Rani , Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialist , Visakhapatnam as Special invitee in the State Board for Assisted Reproductive Technology and Surrogacy Board as per Section 32 of the Surrogacy ( Regulation) Act, 2021 , considering her 2
qualifications and experience in the field of Reproductive Medicine , subject to the following conditions :
a. Her association in ART & Surrogacy Act may be limited to suggestions and assistance in effective implementation of the Act in the State of Andhra Pradesh as special invitee .
b . She shall be invited for the State Board for ART and Surrogacy meetings for deliberations on implementation of ART and Surrogacy act in the State ofAndhra Pradesh .
c . She shall participate in the state board meetings as and when the board meetings are convened and give suggestions for effective implementation of the act in the State of Andhra Pradesh .
d. She is not eligible for any financial entitlements.
e . As a special invitee she is not conferred with any authority/ rights as conferred on the members of the State board of ART & Surrogacy.
f . Failure to attend three consecutive meetings will forfeit her special invitee provision.
g . She shall have right to take part in the discussions . GO RT/75/ 2023 / HMF01- Health , Medical & Family welfare File No.HMF01 - COOR0GOIM / 3 /2023 - E .
h . She shall not have a right to vote at a meeting of the State Board .
i . She may be invited as Special invitee for the State Board for ART and Surrogacy , If approved by the Chairperson ( Hon'ble Health Minister for Health , Medical & Family Welfare) .
2. The Director of Health and Family Welfare , A.P. , Mangalagiri shall take further necessary action in the matter.
