NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 13 of the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 (Act 5 of 2016) read with Section 15 of Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016, the following draft amendments to the Zoning Development & Promotion Regulations and Master Plan of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) approved vide G.O.Ms.No.136, MA&UD Department, dated:08.11.2021, is proposed:

Notice is hereby given that the draft will be taken into consideration after expiry of fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette and that any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect thereto before expiry of said period will be considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Objections or suggestions should be addressed to the Special Chief Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, A.P. Secretariat, Amaravati, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. 1 DRAFT AMENDMENT

In Rule 4.15 of Special Regulations, after clause (l), the following clause (m) shall be appended:

m. Beach Corridor from Kailasagiri Jn., to Bhogapuram Airport

I. A Greenbelt with 10mts (33'-0" width) from the edge of Right of Way (ROW) of proposed Beach Corridor shall be insisted from Kailasagiri Jn., to Bhogapuram Airport. The area covered in the Greenbelt shall have to be surrendered by the abutting land owners on request / during development of the land.

II. Upon surrendering such Greenbelt area, a grant of TDR can be considered by the Competent Authority/Sanctioning Authority as per G.O.Ms.No.223 or its amendments from time to time.

III. Such Greenbelt shall not be applicable to the locations abutting to INS Kalinga (Special Area Use Zone), Erramattidibbaalu Heritage Site (Biodiversity Area) in Nerellavalasa (V) of Bheemunipatnam (M), Water Bodies, Hills (Specified in Revenue Records), Reserve Forest and at other such specific locations to be decided by the Government from time to time.
