ORDER:
In the reference read above, the Chief Engineer, Polavaram Irrigation Project while explaining the circumstances requested the Government to accord necessary Administrative approval for the work of "Investigation, Preparation of Designs & Drawings and Execution of works of Scour Treatment, Construction of Parallel Diaphragm Wall including improvements to Degraded D-wall in ECRF Dam Gap-I and Gap-II " with current SOR 2022-23 for an amount of Rs.2022.48 Crores and accord approval for calling tenders under reverse tendering system.
2. After careful examination, Government hereby accorded Administrative Approval for the work of "Investigation, Preparation of Designs & Drawings and Execution of works of Scour Treatment, Construction of Parallel Diaphragm Wall including improvements to Degraded D-wall in ECRF Dam Gap-I and Gap-II " with current SOR 2022-23 for an amount of Rs.2020.05/- Crores (Two Thousand and Twenty Crores and Five Lakhs only) (the detailed provisions is annexure to this G.O) and also accord permission to the CE for calling tenders under reverse tendering system.
3. The Chief Engineer, Polavaram Irrigation Project, Dowlaiswaram shall ensure i. Reimbursement from the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India of the entire additional cost of the proposed work of scour treatment, etc., without recourse to the State exchequer.
ii. Inclusion of the aforementioned work in the comprehensive revised estimate of the Polavaram project.
iii. Re-examination of the provision made in the estimate towards insurance and seigniorage charges.
iv. The correctness of rates, quantities and leads proposed in the estimate.
v. The design/drawings shall get approved by the competent authority. vi. The sand rate shall adopt as per the revised sand policy of the Govt. from time to time.
4. The expenditure is chargeable to the head of account 4700-01-120-12-26- 530-531.
5. The Chief Engineer, Polavaram Irrigation Project shall take necessary action accordingly.
6. This order issue with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.WR.II) Department vide their U.O.No.FIN01-FMU0MRAS(WR2)/37/2023-FMU-WR-II, Computer No: 2025678, dated:24.03.2023.
