From the Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool Lr.No.CE/KNL/ ICD32-TW/ 688/ 2022 (1485625) DEE4/AEE3/TBPLLCO&M, dt: 28/09/2022.

O R D E RThe Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool in the reference read above has informed that, the agency M/s. Power Solutions, Hyderabad who have taken up the Annual Maintenance of 4 L.I. Schemes have filed WP No.16919/2022 and WP No.16934/2022 before the Hon'ble High Court for release of payments. The Hon'ble High Court in its orders dated 18-07-2022 on the above two WPs have ordered to release the payments within 6 weeks. The Agency has also filed contempt case against WP No.16919/2022 bearing CC No.3880/2022. The Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool has therefore requested to accord administrative approval for 04 (four) estimates for "Operation and Maintenance of L.I Schemes i.e., Remata, Krishnadoddi, Chintamanupalli and Munagala for the year 2022-23 including the liabilities" for an amount of Rs.874.50 Lakhs. 2. After careful examination of the matter and in compliance of the Hon'ble High Court orders dated 18-07-2022 in WP No.16919/2022 and WP No.16934/2022, accorded administrative approval for 04 (four) estimates for "Operation and Maintenance of L.I Schemes i.e., Remata, Krishnadoddi, Chintamanupalli and Munagala for the year 2022-23 including the liabilities" for an amount of Rs.873.50 Lakhs (Rupees Eight hundred and Seventy Three lakhs and Fifty thousand only), subject to condition that the Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool shall ensure correctness of provisions, quantities, rates and data proposed in the estimates, before according technical sanction.

3. The Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool is also requested to incur the expenditure in the next Finance Year 2023-24 from the available budget duly prioritizing the payments against the Court Cases in the first instance.

4. The expenditure is debitable to the Head of Account "MJH 4700- SMJH (01)-MH 147 Guru Raghavendra Swami Lift Irrigation Scheme- GH (11) State Development Schemes –SH(28) Lift Irrigation Schemes- 270 Minor works/272 Maintenance".

5. The Chief Engineer (P), Kurnool is therefore requested to take necessary further action accordingly.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.WR.II) Department vide U.O.Note.No: FIN01-FMU0ASD (WR2)/1/2021-FMU-WR-II (Computer No: 1514660), Dated: 29/03/2023.
