BACKWARD CLASSES WELFARE DEPARTMENT Inclusion of ' Tholu Bommalatavallu ' community name as a synonym to already existing community names viz . , ' Are - Marathi ' , ' Maratha ( Non - Brahmins )' , ' Arakalies' and ' Surabhi Natakalavallu ' , listed at SI.No. 25 at the end under BC- B Group in the List of Backward Classes of Andhra Pradesh State " for the purpose of Articles 15 ( 4 ) and 16 ( 4 ) of the Constitution of India Issued. 3. Representation dated 23.11.2021 of Sri A. Yedukondalu , President , Tholubommalata Vruthi Kalakarula Samakhya , Andhra Pradesh .
4. Representation dated 18.10.2021 of Sri Pendra Veeranna , Chairman , A.P. Most Backward Classes, Welfare & Development Corporation , Vijayawada .

ORDER : -
In the G.O. 1st read above , the Government have approved the list of Backward Classes ( other than Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes ) and declared that the castes and communities specified in Annexure - I to the said Order are Socially and Educationally Backward Classes for the purpose of Articles 15 (4 ) and 16 (4 ) of the Constitution of India .
2. In the references 2nd , 3rd and 4th read above , the President , A.P. Rashtra Tholu Bommalata Kula Samkshema Sangham ( Kalakarulu ) , Guntakal , Ananthapuramu District , the President , Tholubommalata Vruthi Kalakarula Samakhya , A.P. , and the Chairman , A.P. Most Backward Classes Welfare & Development Corporation , Vijayawada have requested the Government to include 'Tholu Bommalatavallu ' community in the List ofBackward Classes of Andhra Pradesh State .
3. In the reference 5th read above , the Member Secretary , A.P. State Commission for Backward Classes , Vijayawada has submitted a report to the Government , recommending to add 'Tholu Bommalatavallu' as a synonym to 'Are - Marathi ' , ' Maratha ( Non - Brahmins ) ' , ' Arakalies ' , and 'Surabhi Natakalavallu ' at Sl.No.25 under BC - B Group in the List of Backward Classes of Andhra Pradesh State .
4. The Government , after careful examination of the matter , have decided to accept the recommendation of the Member Secretary , A.P. State Commission for Backward Classes , Vijayawada and hereby order to include ' Tholu Bommalatavallu ' community name as a synonym to already existing community names viz . , ' Are - Marathi ' , ' Maratha ( Non - Brahmins ) ' ,

'Arakalies', and ' Surabhi Natakalavallu ' at Sl .No.25 at the end under BC-B Group in the List of Backward Classes of Andhra Pradesh State for the purpose ofArticles 15 (4 ) and 16(4 ) of the Constitution of India.
5. The Director , Backward Classes Welfare , A.P. , Vijayawada and all the Collector & District Magistrates , A.P , are hereby directed to take necessary action accordingly.
