ORDER:
The outbreak of violence between rival fractions of Military Government of Sudan , which began on 15th April , 2023 , led the foreign Governments , including India ,to monitor the situation in Sudan and move towards the evacuation and repatriation of its nationals . The Ministry of External Affairs is arranging flights for the Indians rescued, from Jeddah to Delhi /Mumbai . It is identified that 55 migrants from Andhra Pradesh are stranded in Sudan . The Resident Commissioner , A.P. Bhavan is taking care of the migrants brought back to New Delhi . In the reference second read above , the A.P.N.R.T. Society has submitted a proposal to appoint Nodal Officers to be stationed atMumbai to receive the migrants coming back from Sudan and ensure their safe return to their respective destinations in the State .
2. The proposal of the APNRT Society has been considered and Sri M. Ramana Reddy, IRS ( C & CE : 2005 ) , Managing Director , A.P. Technology Services Limited is hereby appointed as Nodal Officer to be stationed at Mumbai to receive the stranded migrants of Andhra Pradesh coming back from Sudan and ensure their safe return to their respective destinations in the State . Further , Sri Santosh Sunil , Asst . Director , A.P.S.D.R.I. and Sri Suresh , I.O. , A.P.S.D.R.I. are drafted to assist the Nodal Officer in thematter.
3. Theabove Officers shall proceed Mumbai forthwith and be stationed there so as to take up the task .
