ORDER : -
In the reference 1st read above , Government have issued orders for extending the reservation facilities to " Munnurukapu " caste which is included in the list of Backward Classes under Group - D with Sl.No.20 hitherto restricted to " Telangana Region " in the combined State of Andhara Pradesh to " Chintoor , Kunavaram , V.R.Puram and Yetapaka ( 4) Mandals " of combined East Godavari District and " Kukunoor , Velairpadu and Bhurgampadu ( 3 ) Mandals " of combined West Godavari District after their demerger from Telangana State and transfer to the State of Andhra Pradesh as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization (Amendment ) Act , 2014 ( Act No.19 of 2014 ) also without increasing the percentage of reservation .
2. In the reference 2nd read above , the Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Backward Classes , Vijayawada have suggested to issue certain amendments to the G.O.Ms.No.49 , B.C. Welfare ( F ) Department , Dt.01.08.2022 as the " Bhurgampadu " Mandal is still existing in the State of Telangana with the remaining twelve Revenue Villages and six Revenue Villages viz . , ( 1 ) Seetharamananagaram , ( 2 ) Sreedhara Velair , (3 ) Gumpanpalli , ( 4 ) Ganapavaram , ( 5 ) Ibrahimpet and ( 6 ) Ravi Gudem ( Big ) were only demerged from Bhurgampadu Mandal and transferred to Kukunoor Mandal of West Godavari District . So , the said reservation facilities to " Munnurukapu " caste restricted to Six Mandals in the State of A.P. viz " Chintoor , Kunavaram , V.R.Puram and Yetapaka ( 4) Mandals " of combined East Godavari District 'and " Kukunoor and Velairpadu ( 2 ) Mandals " of combined West Godavari District which were demerged from Telangana State and transferred to the State of Andhra Pradesh as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization ( Amendment ) Act , 2014 (Act No.19 of 2014) .
3. Government , after careful examination of the matter here by decided to issue an amendment order to the G.O.Ms.No.49 , B.C. Welfare ( F) Department , Dt.01.08.2022 , issued in the 1st read above with immediate effect , is as follows:
Ρ.Τ.Ο ..... 2 AMENDMENT
(i ) The words " and Bhurgampadu " whereever occur in the said G.O. , shall be deleted ;
(ii ) The expression " seven ( 7 ) Mandals " , " ( 7 ) Mandals " , " seven Mandals " wherever occur in the said G.O. , shall be replaced with the expression " six ( 6 ) Mandals " , " ( 6 ) Mandals " , " six Mandals " respectively and also the expression " ( 3 ) Mandals of combined District of West Godavari " shall also be replaced with " ( 2 ) Mandals of combined District of West Godavari " .
4. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration , A.P. , the Director , B.C. Welfare , A.P. and all the Collector & District Magistrates in the State of A.P. shall take necessary action accordingly.
