NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Collector & District Election Authority, Kurnool in letter Lr.Rc.No.H1/258(Mpl. Elecs)/2025, dt.16.04.2025 has informed that, the Sub- Collector, Adoni and Presiding Officer has conducted the meeting of "No Confidence Motion" against Smt. Boya Shanta W/o B. Nagendra, Chairperson of Adoni Municipality on 16.04.2025 at 10.30 A.M. at Adoni Municipal Council and that in the meeting conducted it has been recorded that the No Confidence Motion against the Chairperson is approved.
And whereas, Collector & District Election Authority, Kurnool has forwarded the record of Proceedings & Minutes of Meeting on No Confidence motion against Chairperson, Adoni Municipality , dt.16.04.2025 and Results of voting as per Section 46(5) of AP Municipalities Act, 1965.
Whereas, on perusal of the proceedings & Minutes of Meeting, it is found that out of 41 Ward Members and 2 Ex-Officio Members, 35 Members and one Ex-Officio Member (total 36 Members) have attended meeting. As per voting, 36 members voted for the Motion and Nil voted against the motion and 7 members abstained from voting. Hence, as per the voting, the No Confidence Motion against the Chairperson, Adoni Municipality held approved, since it meets the criteria of 2/3rd of the total members including the ex-officio members as on the date of meeting.
