NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Collector & District Election Authority, Satya Sai District., Puttaparthi in his letter Rc. No. 522/2025/Cord-I/Election, dated: 23-04-2025 has forwarded the letter RoC.No.551/2025-C1, dt.23.04.2025 of the Presiding Officer & Revenue Divisional Officer, Kadiri & record of Proceedings & Minutes of Meeting on No Confidence motions against (1) Smt. Pariki Najimunnisa, Chairperson, (2) Smt. Kommu Gangadevi, Vice-Chairperson-1 and (3) Sri. Ajjugunti Rajasekhar Reddy, Vice-Chairperson-II , Municipal Council, Kadiri and results of voting as per Section 46(5) of AP Municipalities Act, 1965.
Whereas, on perusal of the proceedings & Minutes of Meeting, it is found that out of total strength (37 No's) of the Municipal Council including Ex-Officio Members, 25 Members have attended meeting. As per voting, 25 members voted for the Motions and Nil voted against the motions and 12 members abstained from voting. Hence, as per the voting, the No Confidence Motions against the Chairperson, Vice-Chairpierson-1 and Vice- Chairperson-2 are held passed, since the criteria of 2/3rd of the total members as on the date of meeting is met.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under Section 46(6) of AP Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby remove 1) Smt. Pariki Najimunnissa, Chairperson 2) Smt. Kommu Gangadevi, Vice- Chairperson-1 and 3) Sri. Ajjugunti Rajasekhar Reddy, Vice Chairperson-II, from the office of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson-I & Vice- Chairperson-II respectively, of Kadiri Municipality, with immediate effect.
