NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Collector & District Magistrate Vizianagaram District, in his letter Lr.RC.No.173/2025/C3,dt:29.04.2025 has informed that, the Presiding Officer & the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bobbili has conducted the meeting of "No Confidence Motion" against Sri. Savu Venkata Murali Krishna Rao, Chairperson of Bobbili Municipality on 29.04.2025 at 11.00 A.M. at Bobbili Municipal Council Hall and that in the meeting conducted it has been recorded that the No Confidence Motion against the Chairperson is approved.
And whereas, the Collector & District Magistrate Vizianagaram District, has forwarded the letter No.Roc.No.129/2025/G1, Dt. 29.04.2025 of the Presiding Officer & the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bobbili along with proceedings of the Council meeting on No Confidence motion against Chairperson, Bobbili Municipality , dt.29.04.2025 as per Section 46(5) of AP Municipalities Act, 1965.
Whereas, on perusal of the proceedings of meeting, it is found that out of 30 Ward Members and 1 Ex-Officio Member, all the 31 Members have attended meeting. As per voting, 21 members voted for the Motion and 10 Members voted against the motion. Hence, as per the voting, the No Confidence Motion against the Chairperson, Bobbili Municipality held approved, since it meets the criteria of 2/3rd of the total members including the ex-officio member as on the date of meeting.
