NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Penukonda in his letter dt.15.5.2025 has stated that as per the orders of the Collector and District Election Officer, Sri Satyasai District, Puttaparthi vide Procs.Roc.No.615/Cord-I/2025, Dated.30.4.2025, he has convened meeting for consideration of motions of No Confidence moved by the Ward Members against (1) Smt. Lakshminarasamma, Chairperson and (2) Sri. G. Ramachandra Reddy, Vice-Chairperson, Municipal Council, Madakasira at the office of the Municipal Council on 15.05.2025 at 11.00 AM. It has been recorded that the No Confidence Motions against the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are approved.
And whereas, the Collector & District Election Authority, Sri Satya Sai District, has forwarded the letter Roc.1588/2025-Ele, Dated: 15.05.2025 of Revenue Divisional Officer, Penukonda, along with proceedings of the Council meeting on No Confidence motions against Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, Municipal Council, Madakasira, dt.15.05.2025 as per Section 46(5) of AP Municipalities Act, 1965 for information and necessary action.
Whereas, on perusal of the proceedings of meeting, it is found that out of 21 (20 Ward Members and 1 Ex-Officio Member), 15 have attended meeting. As per voting, 15 members voted for the Motions and Nil Members voted against the motions. 06 Members have not attended the meeting. Hence, as per the voting, the No Confidence Motions against the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, Municipal Council, Madakasira are held approved, since they meet the criteria of 2/3rd of the total members including the ex- officio member as on the date of meeting.
