NOTIFICATION

Whereas the term of the Special Officers in 9 ULBs viz., Rajam, Rajamahendravaram, Bhimavaram, Tadepalligudem, Palacole, Tanuku, Gudivada, Bapatla, Gudur (Tirupati District), will be expired on 05.05.2025 as shown in the Annexure.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of Section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 and Section 70-G of Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of Special Officers to the 8 ULBs mentioned in the Annexure and also appointment of Revenue Divisional Officer, Bhimavaram as Special Officer to Bhimavaram for a period of (6) months from 06.05.2025 to 05.11.2025 or till elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.
