NOTIFICATION
The State Election Commission issued Notification No.126/SEC-B1/2025, dt.28.07.2025 for conduct of elections to the casual vacancies of 3 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (Maneendram MPTC of Ramakuppam MPP in Chittoor District; Vepakampalli MPTC of Karempudi MPP in Palnadu District; and Vidavaluru-I MPTC of Vidavaluru MPP in SPSR Nellore District) and 2 Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (Pulivendula and Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa ZPP).
Under Section 202 of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and Paragraph 10 of the Registration of Political Parties and Allotment of Symbols Order 2001, the State Election Commission, hereby, issues the Symbol Notification in connection with conduct of elections in pursuance of the above said Notification and specifies the following.
(a) Table-I : The Recognised National Parties, Recognised State Parties in the State of Andhra Pradesh and the Recognised State Parties in other States and the Symbols respectively reserved for them.
(b) Table-II : The Registered Political Party with reserved symbol and the Symbol reserved for it.
(c) Table-III : The Registered Political Parties without reserved symbol.
(d) Table-IV : List of Free Symbols for Member, Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) and Member, Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC).
Under Rule 35-A of A.P. Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2006, the symbol for "None of the Above (NOTA)" is also specified in Table-V of this Notification for information of the voters, candidates, Political Parties and election officials.
