APCRDA - CONFIRMATION OF DRAFT VARIATION OF MANGALAGIRI ZONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN - MANGALAGIRI, MANGALAGIRI TADEPALLI MUNICIPAL CORPORTION, GUNTUR DISTRICT - NOTIFIED VIDE ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY NO.464, AMARAVATHI, DT. 19/07/2025 (G- 337).
FILE.NO: MAU61-PLG0OTH/52/2025-DP: Mangalagiri Zonal Development Plan approved and notified vide G.O.Ms No: 687 MA Dt. 30-12- 2006 & Capital City Master Plan approved vide Gazette Notification No.18 dt.23.02.2016. Redefining the boundary description of Capital City master Plan from "Y-junction at Mangalagiri" with the "South-East border of the Nowluru village" due to Jurisdiction ambiguity between textual boundary description and detailed schedule of villages in capital city has been placed in the APCRDA Authority Meeting dt.02.06.2025 and the Authority vide resolution no.551/2025 has resolved as follows "the Authority hereby request the Government to take necessary action to redefine the boundary description of the Capital City Area limits by replacing the reference to the "Y-junction at Mangalagiri' with the "South-East border of Nowluru Village", in order to remove ambiguity in the jurisdiction of Capital City Area".
Government has notified the same vide GO.Ms.No.105 MA & UD dt.17.06.2025.
The request for Restoration of the Mangalagiri Zonal Development plan approved GO.Ms.no.687 MA dt.30.12.2006 for Mangalagiri village as the Planning boundary area of the Capital City has been re-defined vide GO.Ms.No.105 MA & UD dt.17.06.2025 was approved by Executive Committee of APCRDA on 20/06/2020 vide resolution no. 258/2025.
After approval of the above said Restoration of the Mangalagiri Zonal Development plan approved GO.Ms.no.687 MA dt.30.12.2006 for Mangalagiri village, draft variation was notified by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and published in Andhra Pradesh gazette extraordinary no.464, Amaravathi, Dt. 19/07/2025 (G-337) and also in Prajasakthi telugu daily newspaper & Hans India English daily newspaper on 19.07.2025 and the objections received by APCRDA within fifteen days from the date of publication in AP Gazette i.e.,02.08.2025. No Objections/ Suggestions were received during the above said period and the matter was put up before Executive Committee of APCRDA on 13/08/2025 for approval of said change of land use and the same was approved by the Executive Committee vide resolution no.270/2025.
Hence, notice is hereby given that modifications made to the Amaravati Capital City Master Plan approved vide Gazette Notification No.18 dt.23.02.2016 duly restoring the Restoration of the Mangalagiri Zonal Development plan approved GO.Ms.no.687 MA dt.30.12.2006 for Mangalagiri village as said above are notified under section 41(4) of APCRDA Act, 2014. The modifications shall come into operation from the date of publication of this gazette notification and as appended.
APPENDIX
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 41(4), 17(2) of APCRDA Act, 2014 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.11 of 2014) and G.O.Ms No.95 MA & UD (CRDA-2), Dt.23/4/2016 the APCRDA, hereby makes the following variation to the Amaravati Capital City Master Plan approved vide Gazette Notification No.18 dt.23.02.2016 duly restoring the Restoration of the Mangalagiri Zonal Development plan approved GO.Ms.no.687 MA dt.30.12.2006 for Mangalagiri village and as required under section 41(3) of the said Act, Draft variation was previously published in Extraordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.464, Amaravathi, Dt. 19/07/2025 (G-337).
VARIATION
Restoration of the Mangalagiri Zonal Development plan approved GO.Ms.no.687 MA dt.30.12.2006 for Mangalagiri village as the Planning boundary area of the Capital City has been re-defined vide GO.Ms.No.105 MA & UD dt.17.06.2025. Further details of the proposed change are available in the office of APCRDA, Lenin Centre, Vijayawada and also available in APCRDA web site www.crda.ap.gov.in.
