2.In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 and under Section 17 (1) of the A.P. Municipal Corporations Act, 1994, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoint the Special Officers to the 11 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities/Nagar panchayats mentioned in the Annexure for a period of (6) months from 18.03.2026 or till the elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier.	2. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, Section 70-G of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, Section 9 of the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Act, 1979 and Section 9 of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Act, 1981, read with Section 14 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoint the Special Officers to the 11 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities/ Nagar panchayats mentioned in the Annexure for a period of (6) months from 18.03.2026 or till
	the elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier.
