In pursuance of the provision of Rule 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Delimitation of Wards) Rules, 1996 issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No. 570, dated 06.11.1996 objections and suggestions were called for from residents of city in the Preliminary Notification No:1623/2026/G1 Dated: 05-09-2026.

Accordingly, as per provisions of Rule 11 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Delimitation of Wards) Rules, 1996 residents of Ananthapuramu city are hereby informed that Delimitation of the 62 wards of Ananthapuramu Municipal Corporation is conformed as detailed below:

Ward - 01
North: Starting from the North East corner Sy.No. 109 on railway track, runs towards East along the Municipal BoundarySurvey No.s: 97, 92 upto Maruva Vanka.
East: Starting from above end point then turs towards south side along with Maruva Vankaupto Yerranela kottala Culvert.
South: Starting from the above end point run's towards West along the Road upto railway line D No 13-1-1.
West: Starting from the above end point runs towards North East corner Sy.No. 109.
Ward - 02
North: Starting from the boundary line of Survey No: 61, 64, 65 & 71 of Ananthapuramu Gramapolam up to Bukkarayasamudram Revenue Village Boundary line runs towards East along the Anantapuramu Rural Revenue Village boundary line upto pipe line road.
East: Starting from the above end point runs towards south along pipe line road upto NTR Marg.
South: Starting from the above end point runs towards west side along NTR Marg upto Gooty road.
West: Starting from the above end point at NTR Marg runs towards Gooty Road upto HLC canal then takes left and runs along HLC Canal upto Maruva vanka and takes right along Maruva vanka to meet the starting point of this ward.
Ward - 03
North: Starting from the maruva vanka runs towards east along the HLC canal upto Gooty road at D No 17-1-292-1.
