NOTIFICATION

No. HTE-18/1/2023-HTE-BR-HTE.—In pursuance of the State Cabinet decision taken on 2nd March, 2026, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to accord approval for amendment of the existing reservation policy notified vide No. ED/HE-30/2012-13 dated 8th April, 2013. The Policy is for allotment of Diploma/PCM/PCB and allied seats received from Government of India, Regional Bodies and in the technical Institution in the State of Arunachal Pradesh (except Central Government Institutions) and shall now be as per the categories mentioned below:

| (a) CATEGORY – I (Open) | OPEN for the following on the basis of MERIT (i) APST candidates (ii) Children of Non-APST State Government employees. (iii) Children of employees of All India Services/Central Government organizations and Central Public Sector Undertakings serving within the territory of Arunachal Pradesh (iv) All others, not included in any of the above categories with the condition that (a) The candidate should have appeared/passed the qualifying examination of either Class X or Class XII or equivalent from any of the schools within Arunachal Pradesh and (b) His/her parent(s) should have been residing in Arunachal Pradesh for the last 3(three) years or more. (c) Both the criteria (a & b) should be fulfilled. | 20% | |
| (b) | CATEGORY – II (APST) | (i) Only APST candidates on the basis of Merit. | 80% |
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is further pleased to reserve all the State quota MBBS seats of TRIHMS and all seats received from the Regional Bodies/Institutions within the North East for APST candidates only i.e. Category – II.
