No. EED-12040/5/2024.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules to regulate the marking scheme for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (TGT) (Group-B Non- Gazetted) and Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (PRT) (Group-B Non-Gazetted), under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called "Marking Scheme for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (TGT) and Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (PRT), Rules, 2026".

2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Arunachal Pradesh Gazette.

2. Marking Scheme for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (TGT) and

Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (PRT), Rules, 2026.

3. In case the number of applicants is more than the requisite ratio for the written examination for the posts of TGT (Bhoti)s or PRT (Bhoti)s as the case may be, then the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) may conduct a Recruitment Test/ Preliminary Examination in order to select candidates for appearing in the final written examination.

4. The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) shall prepare question papers according to the syllabus provided by the Department for conducting Examination for recruitment of Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (TGT) and Bhoti Language Teacher(s) (PRT) posts and publish the same along with the Advertisement.

5. The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) shall also finalize the syllabus and exam pattern of Recruitment Test as mentioned at para 3 above (if required) and publish the same well in advance. 6. The Minimum Educational Qualifications shall be in accordance with the existing Recruitment Rules, of TGT (Bhoti) or PRT (Bhoti). 2 The Arunachal Pradesh Extraordinary Gazette, April 22, 2026 7. Amendment of Recruitment Rules/ Service Rules : All (i) Service Rules/Recruitment Rules/ Guidelines regulating the Examination Scheme for the posts of TGT (Bhoti) or PRT (Bhoti) shall be deemed to have been amended to the extent provided herein above with immediate effect.

8. Power to amend the Rules: The State Government shall have the powers to alter, modify, amend, rescind or supersede these rules from time to time as may be deemed necessary and expedient so to do.

9. Power to Relax : Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for the reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these Rules with respect to any class or category of persons or posts.

10. Interpretation : If any question arises as to the interpretation of these rules, the same shall be decided by the State Government which shall be final and binding.
