No. LAW/LEGN-11/2026.—The following Act of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly which was passed in the Sixth Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly and received the assent of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is hereby published for general information.

THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH SALARIES, ALLOWANCES AND PENSION OF
MEMBERS OF LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2026

further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries, Allowances and pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly Act, 1983 (No. 8 of 1983).
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Seventy-Seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:
1. (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries, Allowances and Pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly (Amendment) Act, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In this Arunachal Pradesh Salaries, Allowances, Pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly Act, 1983 (Act No. 8 of 1983), for Section 11, the following shall be substituted.
"On and from the commencement of the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries, Allowances and Pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly (Amendment) Act, 2026, every Member of the Legislative Assembly and Ex-Members (Councilors) of the Provisional Legislative Assembly and Pradesh Council who has served for a full term or less than full term or more than one term shall be paid a pension of Rupees sixty thousand per mensem".
