NOTIFICATION
The 17th June, 2026
No. HOME-11012/2/2025/77.—The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to amend the Scheme for grant of Cash Award to the Awardees/Recipients of Gallantry and Other Awards of the Armed Forces belonging to Arunachal Pradesh, notified vide Notification No. HMB (A) 25/2009 dated 20th January, 2014 with immediate effect.
In the said Notification, for the existing table under the heading "Quantum of Award Amount" appearing after paragraph 2, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

| 1. | Param Vir Chakra | ` 1,00,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 2. | Ashok Chakra | ` 50,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 3. | Maha Vir Chakra | ` 50,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 4. | Kirti Chakra | ` 25,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 5. | Vir Chakra | ` 20,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 6. | Shaurya Chakra | ` 20,00,000 in cash and 300 Sq. Mtrs. of land in District HQ or ` 10.00 lakh in lieu of land. |
| 7. | President's Police Medal for Gallantry/Sena/Nao Sena/Vayu Sena Medal | ` 3.00 lakh in cash |
| 8. | Police Medal for Gallantry | ` 2.00 lakh in cash |
| 9. | Mention-in-Despactches | ` 1.00 lakh in cash |
All other provisions of the said Notification shall remain unchanged.
This Notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide U.O. No. Estt-II-20015/12/2026-ESTT-II-FPID, Computer No. 285836, dated 17th June, 2026.
