PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
The 24th August, 2026
Issued under Section 11(1) read with Section 40(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
(Invoking Urgency Clause)
No. LMD-13011(11)/31/2026/E-333081.--- WHEREAS, it appears to the Governor that a two-span bridge of 4800 Sqm and 4800 Sqm of land is required on Nacho to Tama Chung Chung Road under Limeking Circle of Upper Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh for public purpose, namely Construction of approach Roads of 45 and 75 Meters span permanent bridge location at KM 23.450 and KM 41.030 by 128 RCC GREF.
A total of Nil/families are likely to be displaced due to the land acquisition. The reason necessitating such as is given below :
The Deputy Commissioner, Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District, is appointed as Administrator for the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement/compensation of the affected families. Therefore, it is notified that for the above said project located at KM 23.450 and KM 41.030 on Nacho to Tama Chung Chung Road under Limeking Circles of Upper Subansiri District, a piece of land measuring 4800 Sqm and 4800 Sqm of land of standard measurement , whose detailed description is as follows, is under acquisition :-

This notification is made under the provisions of Section 40(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
A plan of the and may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner/Collector and DLRSO on any working day during the working hours.
The Governor is pleased to authorize the Deputy Commissioner, Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District, 128 RCC GREF and their staff to enter upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in Section 12 of the said Act.
2 The Arunachal Pradesh Extraordinary Gazette, August 27 , 2026 The provisions of Chapters –II and III and Section 15 to 18 of the Act shall not apply to the acquisition and declaration may be made under Section 19 in respect of the above land at any time after the date of publication of the preliminary notification under sub-section (1) of Section 11. The Collector (Deputy Commissioner), Upper Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh, though no award hasbeen, may on expiration of thirty days from the publication of the notice mentioned in Section 21, take possession of any land needed for a public purpose and such land shall thereupon vest absolutely in the Government, free from all encumbrances and,
No additional compensation will be required to be paid for acquisition of the above land.
Since the land is urgently required for the project falling within the purview of Section 40(4), it has been decided not to carry out the social impact assessment study.
