No.TWT.6/2017/9.– In exercise of the power conferred by Section 4 of the Northern India Ferries Act. 1879 (Act XVIII of 1978) the Governor of Assam is pleased to declared the Ahatguri = Missamari Ferry Service as public ferry on the River of Brahmaputra in the District of Majuli for the purpose of 4 (a) of the said Act.
