No. PPG(P) 80/2012/ 85.- The Governor ofAssam is pleased to allow issue of rate of interest on GPF i.e. @ 7.8 % effective from 01 October 2017 to 31 December in conformity with the rates fixedby the Govt. of India.
The above specified rate of interest will be applicable to the following funds only:
(a) General Provident Fund ( State Govt . Employees) .
(b) All India Services Provident Fund (Applicable to the officers & staff having GPF Accounts who are serving in the State ofAssam) .
