NOTIFICATION

No. BRLA-10/2013/42.- Whereas in the opinion of the Deputy Commissioner & Collector of Barpeta District it is necessary to acquire land speedily for works in connection with the Scheme "Immediate measure to B/Dyke from Bahari to Baghbar (Closing of breach gap at Manikpur area with ancillary works) under SDRF for 2012-13". Now, therefore, in pursuance of Section 9( 1) of the Assam Land (Requisition & Acquisition) Act, 1964 .
I, Shri Thaneswar Matakar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & Collector, Barpeta is pleased to order that the land as per schedule below measuring an area of 4B-1K-18Ls of land in the Village-Mahammadpur, Mouza-Jania, Sub-Division-Barpeta in the Barpeta District shall be acquired.
Name of Pattadars : Shri Surat Ali, S/o-Pahali Bepari & Others.

The Circle Officer, Baghbar Rev. Circle is to take over possession of the land from the pattadars. The owners and occupiers of land are ordered to vacate the land on receipt of this order and to file objection if any as regards to claim of compensation of land as provided under Section 9(2) fixing.
