No. KAAC/TCA/New T.C./Chowkihola/2022-23/103.- In pursuance to the Executive Committee Resolution No. 14, dated 1st September, 2021, this office Notification No. KAAC/TCA/ New T.C./Chowkihola/2022-23/93, dated 13th October, 2022 and in pursuance of the Sub-section 3 (4) and (5) of the Karbi Anglong District (Administration of Town Committee) Act, 1954, the authority of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu is pleased to declare the area specified below to be a "Notified Areas" for the purpose of constitution of a Town Committee Viz Chowkihola Towan Committee, Karbi Anglong District with immediate effect.
The areas specified and description of the boundary: East : Nahorsola Sarthe Engti Arong (Golaghat District) West : Rong Sangti Nilip Block (Jongpha) North : Panti Kro Arong (Kalioni River) South : Dokhora Bey Arong, Bogijan Weekly Market (Karbi Anglong Border).
