NOTIFICATION

ECF. No. 367433/28.- For Administrative Expediency and in the interest of public convenience, the Governor of Assam is pleased to create the Administrative District, "Hojai" with its Head quarter at Hojai (Sankardev Nagar).
The geographical limits of Hojai district will be co-terminus with the newly delimited Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Binakandi, Lumding and Hojai.
This cancels earlier Notification issued vide N. ECF. No. 367433/6, Dated 29th August, 2023.
