NOTIFICATION
The 7th September, 2023
ECF No. 367433/29.- For Administrative Expediency and in the interest of public convenience, the Governor of Assam is pleased to create the Administrative District, "Biswanath" with its Head quarter at Biswanath Chariali.
The geographical limits of Biswanath district will be co-terminus with the newly delimited Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Bihali, Gohpur and Biswanath.
This cancels earlier Notification issued vide No. ECF No. 367433/7, Dated 29th August, 2023.
