NOTIFICATION

ECF. No. 367433/36.- For Administrative Expediency and in the interest of public convenience, the Governor of Assam is pleased to create the Administrative District, "Bajali" with its Head Quarter at Madan Rauta Nagar, Pathsala.
The geographical limits of Bajali district will be co-terminus with the newly delimited Legislative Assembly Constituency of Bajali.
The Sub-Committee of the Cabinet constituted vide notification No. ECF- 367433/22 Dated 30th September, 2023, will identify more geographical areas which may be added to Bajali district. The Cabinet Sub-Committee will submit a report to this effect within 30 days.
This cancels earlier Notification issued vide ECF. No. 367433/8, Dated 29th August, 2023.
