NOTIFICATION

eCF No.565802/1/772726/2024.- Consequent upon the approval of the Hon'ble Cabinet in its meeting held on 8th October 2024 and in partial modification of the earlier notification issued vide No.RDM-12011(17)/5/2022-LR-REV-R&DM/94 (e-file No:234314) Dated. 11th November, 2022, the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify that the requirement of (3) three generation domicile in Assam shall not apply in respect of the applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Tea Tribe, Ex-Tea Tribe, Adivasi and Gorkha communities of Assam for being considered as indigenous applicants for getting the settlement of land while reviewing the reject cases of Mission Basundhara 2.0.
