ECF No. RLR. 582785/137.- It is hereby notified for general information that due to typographical oversight in the following notifications.
1. Notificiation No. RLR. 71/2000/9 dated 12/03/2002
2. Notification No. RLR. 67/2021/11 dated 04/02/2022
the statutoriy reference has been incorrectly cited as Section 137 of the Assam Land and Revenue Regulation, 1886.
It is hereby clarified that the correct statutory provision under which the power of partition and union of revenue-paying estates is vested with the Circle Officers (Attached)/Assistant Settlement officers, who have acquired proficiency in Survey & Settlement Training, is Section 139 of the Assam Land and Revenue Regulation, 1886.
This Errata is issued for rectification and should be read as part of the above notifications accordingly.
