No.PLA. 332128/51- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 25 Sub-Section (2) of The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (as amended), the Governor of Assam is pleased to authorize Hon'ble Justice Ajit Borthakur, Hon'ble Member (Judicial), Assam Human Rights commission to discharge the functions of the Hon'ble Chairpersion, Assam Human Rights Commission during the period of Earned Leave from office in respect of Hon'ble Justice Arup Kumar Goswami, Hon'ble Chirperson, Assam Human Rights Commssion w.e.f. 3rd October, 2025 to 07th November, 2025 (36 days).
This has the approval of competent authority.
