3. endorse the Annual Work Plan (AWP ) prepared by the concerned Operational PIU (OPIU) i.e. and send to the PCU for approval of the ARIAS Society ;
4. ensure that there is no duplicity with other schemes ;
5. ensure that there is no conflict in implementation modalities of other similar schemes vis- à- vis that of APART;
6. facilitate convergence of other schemes with APART wherever possible;
7. will review the project implementation ( including physical & financial ) on monthly basis linked to the AWP ( before 10th of every month)
a) The CPIU, if required, may hold the review meetings through video conferencing facilities of the NIC at the Secretariat level and District level :
b) The CPIU will forward the minutes of the monthly meeting to the PCU for needful; 8. take corrective measures for removal of impediments for expediting progress ;
9. liaise with the DLCC / DCs for removal of any hindrance during execution of the project ;
10. validate the physical progress reports and send the same to PCU for triangulation;
The incremental operational expenses of the CPIU including remuneration of the contractual staff will be borne under APART .

2.Every notification and every other matter which is required to be printed and published in a particular issue of the Official Gazette must, therefore , reach the Deputy Director , Assam Government Press on the Monday of the week preceding the week in which it is required to be published. Ifthis is not done it is infrictuous requesting the Deputy Director , Assam Government Press to publish such notification or other matter in the next issue of the Gazette , the expression usually inserted in all endorsements made to the Deputy Director.
3.Wherever it is necessary to print and publish a notification on a specified date ( excluding such Notification or communicate as are to be published in Gazette extraordinary) clear instruction ofthat effect must be given to the Deputy Director , Assam Government Press , both on the body of such notification within the indication at the top in the red ink and is a separate covering.
4. To achieve the objective in papers 2 and 3 , it is essential that proper discretion should be exercised by the concerned officers in the Department or office and all matters for publication in the Gazette should scrutinised and sent to the Press after careful application .
5. As for publication of any matters in a Gazette, Extraordinary , the existing procedure whereby the prior approval of the General Administration Department is to be obtained will continue .

The Reading Room at Belvedere and the Lending Section ofthis Library are open on all working days from 9 a. m. to 8. p . m . and from 10 a. m . to 5 p. m . on Sunday and holidays notified by the Library and the Second Saturday of every month .
The Reading Room at Esplanode is open on all working days from 10 a. m . to 5 p . m .
The Childrens Wing at Belvedere remains open on all working days from 3 p . m . to 6 p . m. and Sundays and Holidays from 10 a. m . to 5 p . m . for the children between 5 and 14 years .
The Library is entirely closed on the Republic Day, Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi's birth day on the 26th January , 15th August and 2nd October every year respectively.
Persons not less than 18 years of age are eligible to use the Library. Both the Reading Room and the Lending Section are free to be used by any one residing in any part of the India Dominion. There is no subscription to pay but only security is each essential for borrowing books .
