60/1/2014-2015 dtd . 15/02/2017 the following persons are hereby appointed temporarily in the post of District Sports Officer in the Scale of pay Band Rs.8000 - 35000 with Grade Pay of Rs . 4700 per month plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules . The appointments are made against the existing vacant posts as approved and concurred into by the Finance (SIU) Deptt.'s vide FSI.5/2005 /Vol . - VI / 81 dtd . 19/08/2013 .

No. PMA( S ) 25/2017/19 . As communicated by Govt . letter No. PMA(S) 184/2016/9 dated 03-11-2016 Government ofAssam in Secondary Education Department issued instruction to exempt the fees payable to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for appearing in the Higher Secondary Examination and Board of Secondary Education, Assam for appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination/ Assam High Madrassa Examination from the Government/ provincialized/ recognized venture School Colleges for the students whose annual income of their parents taken together from all sources is below or Rs 1.00 Lakh (Rupees one lakh) only.
After careful consideration Government of Assam in Secondary Education Department have decided to continue waiving of examination fees on an extended scale . This year , in addition to the Examination fees , centre fees charged by the Examination Centre for running the Examination will also be waived for the poor students appearing in HSLC and HSSLC examinations subject to observance of the following conditions:
1. For exempting the examination fees , center fees , school fees for examination etc of the student, the parents/guardian have to declare his income and the student will be eligible only if the income from all sources of the family is Rs 1.00 Lakh or below of it .
2. In support of the claim, the parent has to furnish some supporting evidence . The concerned head ofthe institution after examining the claim will allow the fees exemption of the student .
3. The fees amount thus not realized from the students directly by the AHSEC/ SEBA due to the waiver of examination fees and centre fees , shall be reimbursed by the State Govertiment after receipt of proposal from the AHSEC and SEBA through the Director of Secondary Education, Assam.
4. The AHSEC and SEBA, at the time of claiming reimbursement of examination fees should submit centre-wise and challan - wise detail list of exempted fees indicating nos of beneficiaries covered.
5. The reimbursement proposal must accompany the Utilization Certificate and progress report of previous grants.
6. The school can not collect any fees from the poor students for conduct of examination.
7. Duties and responsibilities of the students availing the scheme: It is mandatory for all the students of class X and the students seeking admission into HS 1 Year to have a tree plantation at their schools/colleges , at their homes or surrounding environment at the beginning of the academic session and place a photograph of his plantation work before the head of the institution. The student has to nurse the sapling and the same students at the time of appearing HSLC examination and after attaining Class -XI & XII as the case may be , have to place photograph of the self nurtured tree showing the progress of his plantation work before the head of the institution.

No. ASE . 604/ 2005/ Vol - II / 1092. - Consequent upon the decision of the Cabinet Meeting held on 28.02.2016 and after careful examination of all the reports showing verification of particulars of dropped teachers of 53 nos. of Provincialised Jr. Colleges (now Sr. Secondary Schools) submitted by the Director ofSecondary Education , Assam vide letter No.PC/Sec/59/2001/ 118 , dated 27.02.2017 and enrolment status received from Secretary, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council vide their letter No.AHSE/ EXB /CG/22 /14/8084 , dated 04.03.2017 together with the strict adherence of guidelines , norms , procedure and of the provisions of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Act , 1993, the Governor of Assam is pleased to regularize the services of 92 ( ninety two ) dropped teachers of provincialised Jr. Colleges ( now Sr. Secondary Schools) under the provision of "The Assam Education (Provincialisation of services of Teachers and Re - organization of Educational Institutions) Act, 2017 " as " TEACHER and TUTOR " and the same shall be prospective i.e. from the date of issue of regularisation order after creation of personal post. The post shall stand abolished as soon as the incumbents relinquish the post on attaining superannuation/ death / resignation of the respective Teachers and Tutors as the case may be

Contractors/ Firms those who have executed drilling work with drilling rig using DTH Hammer in all kind of rock earlier to a tune of Rs.15.00 Lakhs (Minimum) or above in a single work order value are eligible for submission of bid . Preference will be given to those contractors /Firms who has own required drilling machineries or tie-up with other registered Contractors/ Firms of Govt . Department having necessary drilling machineries .
6. Preference will be given to those contractors who have any experience certificate for similar nature of work alongwith the photocopy ofthe Work Order from either in PWD or any other department of the State Govt./ Central Govt . Organization within the jurisdiction of the State of Assam .
7. The tenderer should posses a valid Electrical APWD registration for executing electrical works or may tie- up arrangement made with electrical APWD registered contractor having requisite experience through affidavit and furnish the same along with the tenderpaper .Tender submitted without upto date APWD electrical registration shall be summarily rejected [ PART IX 440

8. If for any reason last date of receiving or issuing Tender paper is a declared holiday/ bandh , Tender will be received and opened on next working day.
9. The undersigned will be the sole authority to cancel or accept any tender without showing any reason.
10. The Short N.I.T. will form a part of the Contract Agreement .

12. Contractors / Bidders will have to submit proper (workable) justification report if their quoted rate found more than 10% below ofestimated rates alongwith the tender during submission .
