The Committee will look into the matters as mentioned below and suggest their recommendation for upliftment of the Department -
1) The Committee will examine the existing zones / circles /divisions /sub - divisions including their present jurisdiction , workload and man power position etc. and suggest necessary modification in respect of jurisdiction , workload and man power position etc.
2) The Committee will examine the possible/feasible reorganization of the Department in reference to new districts /sub- divisions and popular demands .
3) The Committee will examine the requirement of creation of new divisions/ sub- divisions under Water Resources Department.
4) The Committee will examine whether investigation divisions under Water Resources Department may also be given added responsibility to work as works divisions .
5) The Committee will examine the possible/feasible cadre review of the Department including suggestions for creation of new posts , conversion of some old posts like conversion of some Deputy Director posts to Executive Engineer, conversion of AEE (TC ) to AEE or shifting of one less essential post of one office to required/essential post of another office.
6) The Committee will examine the possible / feasible conversion of redundant post of the Department to some essential and special expertise post like conversion of tracer /blue printer posts to some computer assistant posts with AutoCAD degree or diploma , GIS ex - parte posts in lieu of such redundant posts etc.
The Committee will hold its meeting as conveyed by the Member Secretary of the Committee. The Committee will submit its final report within 90 days from the date of issue of this notification.
This cancels this Department's earlier Notification No. WR ( E ) 30/2018/1 dtd . 23/03/2018 .
