No. FRE.110 /2005/405 . Whereas Shri Pradip Kr . Das , Forest Ranger has been exonerated from the charges leveled against him vide Govt . Order No. FRE.110/ 2002/700 dtd . 21.12.2017 in the Disciplinary Proceeding drawn against him.
Whereas the Hon'ble Gauhati High Court vide order dtd . 10.01.2019 in WP (C) No. 6115/2018 in the matter of Shri Pradip Kr . Das - Vs- State of Assam & 5 Ors . , observed that in the event the petitioner , whose case was under Sealed Cover, was recommended for the promotion, the petitioner shall be given promotion w.e.f. the date of when others who were recommended by the same DPC was given promotion and directed to pass appropriate order in terms of recommendation made by the DPC held on 25.01.2012 .
Whereas the recommendation of the Selection Committee held on 25.01.2012 was placed before the authority and it is seen that the Selection Committee recommended the promotion of Shri Pradip Kr . Das to the rank of Assistant Conservator of Forests subject to disposal ofDepartmental Proceeding. The Committee also recommended that if he is fully exonerated from charges, he will get his promotion without loss his seniority .
Now therefore, the Governor of Assam is pleased to promote Shri Pradip Kr . Das , Forest Ranger to the rank of Assistant Conservator of Forests under Rule- 4 (C) of Assam Forest Service, Class - I , Rule , 1942 in pay Band- 4 in the Scale of Rs . 30,000 to 1,10,000/ - plus Grade Pay Rs . 12,700/ - p.m.
In the interest of public service , Shri Pradip Kr . Das , Forest Ranger , i/ c Khowang Range , under Dibrugarh Division , Dibrugarh on promotion to the rank of Assistant Conservator of Forest is hereby posted as ACF attached to the DFO , Sonitpur West Division , Tezpur w.e.f. the date of taking over charge until further orders .
